HOUSE WEAR was initially a multidisciplinary exhibition which was part of the 2011 State of Design Festival in Melbourne. Like the exhibition, issue 1 of HOUSE WEAR addresses the condition of impermanence in everyday life and its effect on contemporary design. Artists, writers, architects and designers explore how this relationship affects the way we live, and the impact of nomadic behavior on our perception of house/home.
